VPN connection issues?

If your VPN stopped connecting, loads pages slowly or works unstably (especially on mobile internet), don't worry. Most often the problem is solved by changing a couple of settings in the app. Carriers constantly update their filters, but our algorithms try to bypass them.

Go through these steps for your app.

Happ

A versatile and reliable client

1

Use fragmentation

This setting helps it work on mobile internet (MTS, Megafon, Beeline, etc.).

  • Open the profile settings (tap the server name).
  • Find the "Fragment" or "Fragmentation" section.
  • Enable this option (tick the box).
  • Reconnect to the server.
2

Disable Mux

MUX can conflict with newer protocols and cause an unstable connection.

  • In the profile settings find the Mux (Multiplexing) option.
  • Make sure it is off (toggle in the Off position).
3

Time synchronization

Critically important for the VLESS protocol to work.

  • Open your device's date & time settings.
  • Make sure automatic time synchronization is enabled.

No internet after connecting? Go to Happ settings and "Reset" all settings.

A good app to use

1

Enable fragmentation (TLS Tricks)

This setting "shreds" your traffic into tiny pieces, and the carrier's equipment simply can't recognize and block them in time. This is the main fix for mobile internet (MTS, Megafon, Tele2, Beeline).

  • Open Hiddify and go to the Settings tab.
  • Find the Advanced or Config Options section.
  • Find the Fragment or TLS Tricks option.
  • Enable it and set a value of 10-20 (or choose Default/SNI).
  • Reconnect the VPN.
2

Disable MUX (Multiplexing)

MUX combines several data streams into one. With newer protocols (Xray VLESS) this feature often conflicts and causes freezes and connection drops.

  • Go to Settings.
  • Find the MUX (Multiplexing) option.
  • Disable it completely (uncheck the box or move the toggle to off).
V2rayNG

Solutions for V2rayNG

Android

1

Turn off Mux

  • Tap the three lines (Menu) in the top-left corner -> Settings.
  • Scroll down to the "V2ray-specific settings" section.
  • Find Enable Mux and uncheck it.
2

Accurate time (Critically important!)

The VLESS protocol instantly drops the connection if your phone's time differs from world time by even 1-2 minutes.

  • Go to the phone settings (not the app).
  • Open "Date & time".
  • Turn off and back on "Use network-provided time" (automatic time) so the phone syncs with cell towers.
Streisand

Foxray / Streisand

iOS (iPhone)

1

Disable MUX

In the profile settings (or the app's general settings) find the Mux / Multiplexing option and disable it.

2

Time synchronization

Like on Android, iOS Xray clients are time-sensitive. Go to Settings → General → Date & Time and make sure the "Set Automatically" toggle is on.

Split tunneling

Want the VPN to work only in specific apps (e.g. only YouTube) while banking apps connect directly?

Universal tips

If nothing helped

Airplane mode

The carrier may have temporarily put your IP in a "penalty box". Turn on Airplane mode for 10 seconds, then turn it off. Your phone will get a new IP and the limits will reset.

Update the subscription

Tap the "Update" button in the app. We may have changed the technical servers or released new paths for internet access.

Change the location

Try choosing a "via Russia" route instead of "Direct". Carriers may temporarily block direct foreign traffic in your region.
